Connacht and Ireland winger Mack Hansen has been ruled out of action for five weeks with an ankle injury.

Hansen missed Connacht's games in South Africa against the Stormers and the Lions, and will miss their final two URC games against Edinburgh and Zebre.

The injury could not come at a worse time for Hansen, who will be hoping to be picked for the British and Irish Lions on Thursday when Andy Farrell names his squad.

Ireland and Leinster captain Caelan Doris looks set to be doubtful after Leinster confirmed he will undergo a shoulder procedure following Saturday's defeat to Northampton.

There was better news for Connacht, as Bundee Aki returns from injury that kept him out of the games in South Africa.

Also available for selection is Shamus Hurley-Langton, Caolin Blade, Denis Buckley, and Sean O'Brien, who returns from a long-term hamstring injury.
