Cork and Tipperary progressed into the semi-finals of the Munster Football Championship on Saturday evening.

The Rebels booked their passage thanks to a 24-point to 13-point win over Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

Tipperary are also in the last four, as they got the better of Waterford by 1-22 to 1-19 in Thurles.

Laois came away from Wexford Park with a 2-21 to 2-11 win over Wexford in the opening round of the Leinster Football Championship.

Earlier in the day, Roscommon eased into the next round of the Connacht Senior Football Championship.

They came away from Ruislip with a 2-26 to 13-point win.

The Rossies will play either Galway or New York in the semi-finals. Galway will go up against New York on Sunday.
