Things have ended all square between Drogheda United and Cork City in one of the five games in the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division on Friday evening.

Cork City went ahead in the 33rd minute through a penalty taken by Ruairí Thomas Keating. Drogheda United equalised through Warren Davis in the second half.

It ended all square between Shamrock Rovers and Derry City. Neither side scored, but both went down to 10 men.

Edward McGinty received a red card in the 23rd minute for handling the ball outside the box, while Danny Mullen received a second yellow meaning he was forced off the pitch.

Shelbourne went 2-0 up very early on against Sligo Rovers, with goals from John Martin and Kerr McInroy.

Sligo Rovers pulled one back just before half time, but then went on to go one man down in the second half. Cian Kavanagh was sent off.

St Pat's came back from behind to beat Waterford, who had went 1-0 up in the 14th minute through Pádraig Amond.

A Darragh Leahy own-goal and a goal from Brandon Kavanagh in the 90th minute meant the scoreline sat at 2-1 in St Pat's' favour.

Galway United game out on top against Bohemians. The scoreline there was 2-0, with both goals coming from Moses Dyer.

After this evening, St Pat's are top of the table, with Galway United and Drogheda United taking the second and third spots respectively.

In the First Division, Bray came out on top against Cobh Ramblers thanks to a stoppage-time penalty.

It was all square up until 90+5, when Max Murphy slotted away a penalty.

Billy O'Neill had scored in the 53rd minute to put Bray ahead, before Cian Coleman equalised for Cobh Ramblers.

Dundalk breezed past Wexford. That game ended 3-0 thanks to goals from Leo Gaxha and Sean Keogh.

Elsewhere, Finn Harps beat Athlone Town 1-0 and Kerry lost 1-0 to UCD.
