All-Ireland champions Clare lead the way in hurling All-star nominations

All-Ireland hurling champions Clare lead the way with 14 nominations for the PwC all stars.

Runners-up Cork have 10 nominated, with Limerick having nine and Kilkenny represented by four players.

There are two nominations each for Antrim, Dublin, Wexford and Waterford.

Clare's Shane O'Donnell is nominated for player of the year, alongside Limerick's Kyle Hayes and Cork's Darragh Fitzgibbon.

Clare defender Adam Hogan is nominated for Young Hurler of the Year, along with Limerick’s Cathal O’Neill, and Cork’s Eoin Downey.

The All-Stars banquet will take place in the RDS on Friday, November 1st, with the hurling team to be unveiled live on the night. The All-Stars football team will be named on Thursday, October 31st.
