Armagh have beaten Kerry after extra-time to reach the All-Ireland Football Final.

It will be their first All-Ireland final appearance since 2003.

Down have been crowned Tailteann Cup champions for 2024.

They survived a late fightback from Laois to take the final by 0-14 to 2-6,.

In Ladies Football, Kildare avoided the drop from senior football.

They needed a late penalty to win their relegation playoff with Laois by 1-10 to 1-8 this afternoon.

Rugby

A last gasp drop goal from Ciarán Frawley has handed Ireland their second ever win in South Africa.

He came off the bench to kick Andy Farrell's men to a 25-24 win in Durban.

Conor Murray also crossed over for a try as Ireland came from behind for the victory.

It was a first loss for the hosts at that venue for 8 years and means the series ends level at 1 game a piece.

Golf

Rory McIlroy is three shots off the lead ahead of his third round at the Scottish Open.

The World Number Two is 9-under-par at the Renaissance Club, as he gears up for The Open at Royal Troon next week.

Sweden's Ludvig Aaberg  leads the way on 12-under.

Seamus Power has dropped a shot midway through his third round to move back to 3-under.

Tennis

Barbora Krejcikova has been crowned women's Wimbledon champion with a three-set victory over Jasmine Paolini.

It's a second Grand Slam title for the Czech player - who won the French Open in 2021.

Both were playing in their first All England Club final and it's the seventh year in a row there's been a new ladies champion.

Cycling

The Tour de France enters the Pyrenees today, with Tadej Pogacar holding a 1-minute 6-second lead in the yellow jersey.

Ireland’s Ben Healy starts the day fourteenth on general classification.

Racing

There’s an eight-race card at Wexford, with the first off around now.

There’s also action at Navan, with a seven-race programme beginning just before 2pm.
