Leinster have seen themselves through to the Champions Cup semi-finals after demolishing La Rochelle 40-13 at the Aviva.

Tries from James Lowe, Jamison Gibson-Park, Ryan Baird and Dan Sheehan, and a Man of the Match performance from Ross Byrne leaves them in wait of the winner of the quarter-final between Northampton and the Bulls.

That game gets underway at 8pm.

In the earlier quarter-final, Harlequins beat Bordeaux 42-41.

In the Challenge Cup quarter-finals, Ulster suffered a heavy loss away to Clermont Auvergne.

The game at Parc des Sports Marcel Michelin ended 53-14.

Ireland got their first win of this year's Women's Six Nations, besting Wales 36-5.

In the day's other fixture, England beat Scotland 46-0.

Golf

Rory McIlroy's luck hasn't improved during the third round at the Masters.

The World Number 2 is level par thru 11 holes today to go back to 4 over par.

Shane Lowry has joined him on four-over after a bogey on the sixth today.

Max Homa, Scottie Sheffler and Bryson DeChambeau share the lead at Augusta on six-under.

Soccer

Newcastle took a 4-0 win over Tottenham at St James's Park, with goals from Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon and Fabian Schar.

In the 3pm kick-offs, Manchester City beat Luton Town 5-1, Brentford took a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United, and there were draws between Burnley and Brighton, and Nottingham Forest and Wolves.

The late game, Bournemouth and Manchester United played out a 2-2 draw.

GAA

Laois and Offaly are facing off in the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final at O'Moore Park, where it's level at half-time, 1-5 to 0-8.

In the Ulster quarter-final, Down beat Antrim 0-13 to 0-9 at Páirc Esler.

Earlier, in the opening round of Christy Ring Cup, Kildare beat Sligo 2-19 to 2-8.

Dublin have been crowned champions in the Very Nation Camogie League Division 1B final, having seen off Wexford on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-8.

In the Division 3A final, Armagh took a narrow victory over Laois, ending 0-14 to 2-7.

I Am Maximus ran out an impressive winner of the Randox Grand National at Aintree.

Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, I Am Maximus stormed up the famous run-in to claim success as the 7-1 favourite.
