Two females injured after alleged assault in Ballyogan

Gardaí from Shankill are investigating the alleged assault of two females following an incident at a domestic residence in Ballyogan, Dublin 18, on Sunday, 30th August 2026.
Shortly before 8:30 am, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted following an incident involving multiple individuals at the property.
Two women in their 20s sustained injuries in the course of the incident and were taken to hospital for treatment.
One of the women is being treated for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, while the second woman is undergoing further medical assessment.
In the course of a follow-up operation involving Gardaí from Shankill and the ASU, a male in his 30s was arrested at a residential property in the Deansgrange area of East Dublin a short time later.
He is currently being detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region East.
Investigations are ongoing.
