Two injured after reported Cork shooting

Two people are receiving treatment after a reported shooting in Cork City.
Gardaí said they were alerted to “reports of a discharge of a firearm” on Sunday afternoon.
The incident is alleged to have occurred near Ballyvolane Road.
Other emergency service personnel attended.
A garda spokesperson said: “Two males are receiving treatment for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
“No further information is available at this time.”
