Man (30s) arrested after assaulting three gardaí in Co Kildare

A man assaulted three gardaí after he was arrested in Newbridge, Co Kildare, on Monday.
During the course of the interaction, the man in his 30s became violent and assaulted three members of the force.
The gardaí received medical treatment at the hospital.
The man was arrested and detained at a Garda station in Co. Kildare.
He has since been charged in relation to the assault and is due to appear before Naas District Court on Tuesday.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
