Gardaí launch investigation following fire at Islamic prayer hall

Gardaí have launched a criminal investigation following a fire in Dublin city centre.

Emergency services attended a fire on Monday afternoon at an Islamic prayer hall on Talbot Street.

An Garda Síochána said in a statement: “Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire at a premises on Talbot Street Dublin 1.”

The statement added: “No injuries have been reported at this time.”
