Rail passengers in Dublin and Wicklow are being warned of major disruptions over the upcoming June bank holiday weekend due to engineering works.

The works will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday between Connolly Station and Bray.

During the vital engineering works, all Rosslare line services will operate only to and from Bray with bus transfers being put in place.

The transfers will run between Bray and Connolly, and between Bray and Dún Laoghaire, allowing passengers to connect with rail services.

There will also be no DART services between Connolly and Greystones throughout the works with services operating only between Malahide, Howth, and Connolly.

A number of rail stations south of Connolly, including Pearse, Tara, Grand Canal Dock, Lansdowne Road, Sandymount, Blackrock, Seapoint, Monkstown, Dún Laoghaire, Sandycove, Glasthule, Glenagerary, Dalkey, Killiney, Shankill, Woodbrook, and Bray, will be closed for the duration of the engineering works.

Iarnród Éireann has said rail tickets, Leap cards and travel passes will be accepted on Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland services in affected areas.

Passengers are being urged to allow extra time for journeys and check travel arrangements in advance through Irish Rail.

The services affected on each day include from Saturday; the 7:55am Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with the train departing at 8:50am from Bray to Rosslare Europort, the 1:55pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with train departing at 2:50pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort, the 6:40pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with train departing at 7:30pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort.

The 6:45am Gorey to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly, the 7:15am Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly, the Rosslare Europort to Connolly at 1:15pm will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly while the 6:05pm Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly.

On Sunday, the 10:25am Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with the train departing at 11:15am from Bray to Rosslare Europort.

The 1:45pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with train departing at 2:35pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort, the 6:45pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with train departing at 7:35pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort.

The 9:40am Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only with bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly, the 2:05pm Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only with bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly while the 6pm Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly.

On bank holiday Monday, the 10:25am Connolly to Rosslare Europort train will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with the train departing at 11:15am from Bray to Rosslare Europort.

The 1:45pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray, train departing at 2:35pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort, 6:45pm Connolly to Rosslare Europort will be bus transfers direct from Connolly to Bray with train departing at 7:35pm from Bray to Rosslare Europort.

The 9:40am Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly, the 2:05pm Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only, bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly while the 6pm Rosslare Europort to Connolly will operate to Bray only with bus transfers direct from Bray to Connolly.
