Gardaí have seized €88,130 in cash and mobile phones as part of an operation targeting Intellectual Property (IP) crime in West Dublin.

Gardaí carried out searches of two properties on Friday in West Dublin.

€88,130 in cash and mobile phones, along with counterfeit clothing to the value of approximately €26,000, were seized.

The suspected counterfeit items are now subject to examination.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
