One person has been taken to hospital as firefighters tackle a blaze at an apartment block in Dublin.

Emergency services were called to Auburn Avenue in Castleknock at around 1 am.

The apartment block was evacuated, and five fire engines remain at the scene, as operations continue.

The building is located south of the M50-N3 junction, also known as the Blanchardstown exit.

Dublin Bus services on route 38 are diverting via Castleknock Road as a result
