A woman in her 20s has died in a crash in Loughlinstown, Dublin, on Saturday.

The woman, a pedestrian, was struck by a car on the N11 Bray Road at around 11.50pm.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner has been notified and the scene preserved for technical examination. Traffic diversions are in place.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
