A woman, who was arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Andrew Burns, has been released without charge.

He was shot dead at Donnyloop, Castlefin, in County Donegal on February 12th, 2008.

Gardaí arrested a woman in her 60s in connection with the investigation on Thursday night.

She has since been released without charge, with a file being prepared for the DPP.
