Loud bangs were heard in the Circular Road area of Creggan on Monday evening, before gunshot strikes were seen on the front door of the house.

Police are appealing for information.

“Luckily the resident was not in the property at the time.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious vehicles in the area or to anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with inquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1859 11/05/26.”
