The ongoing fuel protests are bringing widespread disruption to public transport routes across the country.


5:40pm

Nitelink

Dublin bus wishes to advise customers that, due to the fuel protests, the following change of termini are in place for Nitelink services:

  • Route 7n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 29n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962
  • Route 31n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962
  • Route 33n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962
  • Route 42n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962
  • Route 46n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 49n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 69n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 70n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962
  • Route 77n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 84n - From Stephen's Green North Stop 790
  • Route 88n - From Mountjoy Square North, Stop 4962

4:30pm

Bus Éireann

Due to ongoing protests, Route 51 services operating between Cork and Galway (in both directions) may experience significant disruptions, including delays and diversions.

Route 51 services will operate only between Cork and Limerick until further notice, Bus Éireann said.

At Limerick, a connecting bus will be provided to transport passengers travelling onwards to Shannon Airport.

3:25pm ex Cork to Galway is cancelled. As is the 5:25pm ex Cork to Galway.

  • 2:05pm Galway to Cork – cancelled
  • 4:05pm Galway to Cork – cancelled

Route 64 from Sligo to Galway is delayed, as is Route 330, Ennis to Shannon.

Route 241 services are currently unable to serve Trabolgan and Whitegate due to protests in the area. Route 261 services are currently unable to serve Ballinacurra.

All Tralee and Killarney services operating (in both directions) may experience significant disruptions, including delays and diversions.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to check the website regularly for the latest updates.

Expressway Services

The following routes serving Dublin City are impacted: 100X, 2, 4, 22, 23, 30, and 32.

Route 2 – Dublin Airport to Wexford

  • Diversion: Services will operate via the N11 and East Link, rejoining the route at Loughlinstown Hospital.
  • Missed Stops: All stops from Busaras
  • Alternative Stops: Dublin Airport Zone 13.

Route 4 – Dublin Airport to Waterford

  • Diversion Heuston Station
  • Missed Stops: Busaras and Dublin Airport
  • Alternative Stop: Heuston Station

Routes 22 (Ballina) & 23 (Sligo)

  • Diversion: Services will operate via the N4.
  • Missed Stops: Busaras and Dublin Airport
  • Alternative Stops: Heuston Station and Stop 2213 (Liffey Valley Shopping Centre).

Routes 30 (Donegal) & 32 (Letterkenny)

  • Diversion: Services will terminate and operate from Dublin Airport.
  • Missed Stop: Busaras.
  • Alternative Stop: Dublin Airport Zone 12.

Route 100X – Dublin to Dundalk

  • Diversion: Services will terminate and operate from Dublin Airport.
  • Missed Stops: All stops from Holles Street (Merrion Square) to 3Arena (North Wall).
  • Alternative Stop: Dublin Airport Zone 13.

PSO Services

Routes 103, 109X, NX

  • Diversion: Operating to/from Broadstone, Constitution Hill: Stop 195 (Broadstone) and Stop 190 (Broadstone).
  • Missed Stops: Wilton Terrace, Beresford Place, 15 Dorset Street Lwr, 834 St Parrick Road (Drumcondra)
  • Alternative Stops: Stop 195 (Broadstone) and 1506 Hart’s Corner.

Route 103 (Temporary closure outbound)

  • Missed Stops: Stop 134451 (Kildonan) and Stop 134321 (Kilshane Cross)
  • Alternative Stops: Stop 100901 (St. Margaret's Road) and Stop 134251 (Ward Cross)

Routes 103X, 105X and 111X

  • Diversion: Operating to/from Broadstone, Constitution Hill: Stop 195 (Broadstone) and Stop 190 (Broadstone).
  • Missed Stops: All stops from O’Connell Street to Belfield.
  • Alternative Stop: Stop 195 (Broadstone).

Routes 109, 109B, 111

  • Diversion: Operating to/from St. Peter’s Church (Cabra Road).
  • Missed Stops: All stops from Mater Hospital to Busaras.
  • Alternative Stop: Stop 57 (Phibsborough – St. Peter’s Church).

Route 109X (Inbound)

  • Missed Stops: Stop 101131 (North Road, Finglas), Stop 4542 (Finglas Place), Glasnevin (Stop 101151), Stop 188 (Doyle’s Corner)
  • Alternative Stops: Stop 195 (Constitution Hill, Broadstone) and Stop 818 (Berkeley Road)

Route NX (Inbound)

  • Missed Stops: Stop 188 (Doyle’s Corner)
  • Alternative Stops: Stop 195 (Constitution Hill, Broadstone) and Stop 818 (Berkeley Road)

Routes 115, 115X, 132, 245X

  • Diversion: Operating to/from Heuston Station.
  • Missed Stops: Belfield, Connolly Luas Stop, Wellington Quay, and Busaras.
  • Alternative Stop: Stop 10995 (Heuston Station).

Route 133

  • Diversion: Operating to/from Merrion Square West.
  • Missed Stops: All stops from Busaras to Merrion Row Church.
  • Alternative Stop: Stop 2811 (Merrion Square West).

Routes 101

  • Diversion: Operating to/from Mountjoy Square.
  • Missed Stops: Wilton Terrace, Busaras, and 3Arena (North Wall).
  • Alternative Stop: Stop 1174 (Mountjoy Square).

Route 101X

  • Service suspended

All services at Rosslare Europort are currently suspended until further notice, and will instead begin and end at Wexford Train Station.

Route 2

  • 3pm Wexford to Dublin Airport - Cancelled
  • 5pm Dublin Airport to Wexford - Cancelled
  • 7pm Dublin Airport to Wexford - Cancelled

Route: 32

  • Letterkenny to Dublin
  • Dublin to Letterkenny

Due to ongoing fuel protests and road blockages in Monaghan Town and on the N2 bypass, services between Aughnacloy and Dublin Airport are currently suspended.

Passengers are advised to use alternative stops at Aughnacloy and Ballygawley.

The following stops are impacted: Emyvale, Monaghan, Castleblayney, Carrickmacross and Ardee Bypass.

Route 105

  • 3:45pm Emerald Park to Navan Rd Stn - Cancelled

  • 5pm Maynooth to Mullingar - Cancelled

Route 131

Due to the ongoing protest in Dublin City Centre, Bus Éireann said further disruption or changes to these diversion arrangements may occur at short notice.
