Two men charged over seizure of cannabis worth €1 million in Louth

Two men are due in court around now, charged after a drugs seizure worth €1 million in Co Louth.

Revenue officers found 50 kilos of suspected cannabis on Wednesday in Castlebellingham.

They were arrested as part of a joint operation with gardaí.

Both men in their 40s are appearing before a sitting of Dundalk District Court at 6 pm on Friday.
