Gardai have submitted a supplementary file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions on the Creeslough explosion investigation.

10 people were killed in an explosion at a building complex in the Co Donegal village on October 7 2022.

The supplementary file has been submitted several months after the primary file was submitted to the Office of the DPP in September 2025.

A Garda spokesperson said it includes formal recommendations from An Garda Siochana.

They said the victims’ families continue to be supported by family liaison officers and attend regular family liaison briefings, the most recent of which took place on Thursday evening.

“An Garda Siochana continues to appeal to any person with any information in relation to the fatal explosion on the 7th October 2025 – and for whatever reason may not have spoken formally to An Garda Siochana to date – to please come forward and speak to the Garda investigation team now,” they added.

The Garda Investigation Team can be contacted at Milford Garda Station at 074 9153060, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or through Garda Station.
