Drugs with an estimated value of €1 million have been seized by Revenue officers in Co Louth.

The intelligence-led operation resulted in approximately 50kg of herbal cannabis being seized on Wednesday.

Two men aged in their 40s were arrested and are currently being held at a Garda station in the North Western region.
