Taylor Swift has arrived in Dublin as a waxwork of the superstar musician has been revealed.

A wax figure of the pop star has been unveiled at the National Wax Museum Plus in the city centre.

She joins celebrities like David Bowie, U2 and Jedward, while a figure of Sinéad O'Connor is due to return later this year.

According to the museum, it "reflects her stage presence" and every detail – from the outfit to her expression – was designed “to ensure an authentic and immersive fan experience".

The museum's Claire Dunning said they were very nervous to reveal Taylor.

“Hopefully she likes it, and we’re okay,” she said.
