Gardaí arrest nine people as part of money laundering investigations

Gardaí arrested a total of nine people following an operation targeting money laundering on Thursday.

Gardaí arrested three adult males (aged in their late teens, 20s, and 30s) and one adult female (aged in her late teens) who have since been charged and released on bail.

They are due to appear before Dún Laoghaire District Court on Monday, April 13th.

In addition, gardaí arrested three adult females (two aged in their 20s, one in their 30s) and two adult males (aged in their 30s and 50s) who have since been released.

Files will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
