The man was arrested on Thursday and is due to appear before Limerick District Court on Friday morning.

Áine O’Reilly, a nurse from Pallasgreen, died in the collision on Friday 13th February that left another driver injured, while a third fled the scene.

The collision took place on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick.

At her funeral on 18th February, the congregation heard that O’Reilly had spent her life putting others before herself, and her death had left the community in shock.
