Two men arrested in connection with serious assault in Limerick city

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Limerick city.
A man in his 50s remains in a serious condition in hospital following the incident on Athlunkard Street on Tuesday night
Gardaí have arrested two men in their 20s as part of the investigation - they are being held at a Garda station in Limerick.
Another male, also in his 20s, was previously arrested and has already appeared before the courts.
