There are 483 admitted patients on trolleys in hospitals around the country on Thursday.

University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of those, with 56, followed by Cork University Hospital with 52.

Of the total number of people waiting for beds, 304 are in emergency departments, while 179 are in wards elsewhere.
