Teenager arrested in connection with Limerick crash that killed nurse

A male teenager has been arrested in connection with a road collision in Co Limerick last month.

Áine O’Reilly, a nurse from Pallasgreen, died in the collision on Friday 13th February that left another driver injured, while a third fled the scene.

The collision took place on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, Co Limerick.

The teenager is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Limerick Division.

Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
