Teenage boy arrested following assault in Co Cork
A teenager has been arrested following an assault in Cork city in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred in Blackrock shortly before 1:00 am.
An adult male in his late teens was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries.
A teenage boy was arrested and detained at a Garda Station in Cork city under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
