A man has died following a road crash in Co Dublin.

The male passenger, aged in his 30s, died following the incident involving one vehicle at Powerstown Road, Tyrrelstown, shortly before 6pm on Saturday.

Gardaí said a second passenger, a woman in her 30s, was brought to Connolly Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the vehicle, a man in his 40s, was also brought to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward,” a Garda spokesperson said.

“Road users who may have camera footage (including dashcam) and were travelling on the Powerstown Road between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 7th March 2026 are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardai.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
