Suspicious package brought to Garda station declared safe

A suspicious package brought to Crumlin Garda Station in Dublin has been declared safe.

The garda station was evacuated following the incident on Tuesday.

A cordon was established and the Army EOD team was notified.

The garda station was later reopened.

Gardaí said the matter will be investigated, and the package is to be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
