Two men have been charged following the seizure of drugs worth €700,000 in Dublin on Saturday.

They are both scheduled to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Monday morning,

The seizures were made when gardai from Coolock intercepted a car and found cannabis, and during follow-up searches at a number of residential properties in Dublin 1.

The men, aged in their 20s and 30s, are being detained under the Drug Trafficking Act, at a Garda station in the Dublin region.
