Irish actors Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan take centre stage in the trailer for the much-anticipated Peaky Blinders movie.

Set in Birmingham in 1940 amid the chaos of World War Two, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man sees Tommy Shelby (Murphy) return from his self-imposed exile.

Tommy's illegitimate son Duke (Keoghan) is running the notorious gang in his father's absence, but not for long it seems.

Ada Shelby, played by Sophie Rundle, tells Shelby that Duke, is running the gang "like it’s 1919 all over again".

The trailer also introduces us to new character Kaulo, portrayed by Rebecca Ferguson,

The cast also includes Tim Roth and Stephen Graham.

Barry Keoghan and Cillian Murphy in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

The sound track will include new music from Nick Cave, Fmtaines DC, Lankum, and McLusky.

The film is directed by Tom Harper and written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. 

It will mark the end of a hugely successful show that ran for six seasons.
