Three men have been charged after cannabis with a suspected value of more than €10 million was seized in the Co Louth area.

A joint operation by the Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized 506kg of cannabis in a raid on a property on Friday.

The estimated value of the drugs is €10.12 million.

Two men in their 30s and one in his 50s are to appear before a special sitting of Dundalk District Court on Saturday evening.
