Gardaí have seized scooters, scramblers, and €55,000 worth of drugs at various locations across Dublin.

They said as part of investigations targeting on-street drug dealing, 21 locations were searched where they seized e-scooters, e-bikes, and scrambler motorbikes.

Alongside efforts to disrupt and dismantle drug distribution networks, the operation was aimed at combatting drug-relation intimidation and further organised crime activity associated with these networks.

As part of Tuesday's searches, it resulted in the seizure of:

  • Electric Scooters – 18
  • Motorbike - 1
  • Mini Scramblers - 5
  • Motorised bicycles – 5
  • Various Controlled Drugs – Approximately €55,000 worth (subject to analysis)
  • Cash - €10,740

Gardaí said one person was arrested on the foot of an outstanding bench warrant.

Investigations are ongoing.
