Two men were arrested after drugs worth an estimated €334,000 were seized by gardaí in Dublin.

As part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area, gardaí carried out a search of two domestic residences in north and west Dublin on Wednesday.

During the course of the searches, cocaine with an estimated value of €300,000, and MDMA with an estimated value of €34,000, were seized, subject to analysis.

Gardaí from the Ballymun Drug Unit, Serious Crime West, assisted by Ballymun Community Response Team, also seized €17,000 in cash during the operation.

The two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Garda Stations in Dublin.

The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
