Dublin has been ranked the third most congested city in the world.

The figures from TomTom have shown that drivers in the capital lost 191 hours, or almost eight days, stuck in rush hour traffic last year.

Dublin has also ranked as the 6th slowest city in the world, with a travel time of three minutes and 27 seconds per kilometre.

The worst day to travel last year was December 11th, according to the research.

It comes as the Labour Party argue that employees should have the right to flexible and remote work to ease congestion.
