A man in his 20s has been arrested after Revenue officers seized nearly €300,000 worth of cannabis at Dublin Airport on Monday.

14.96kg of suspected herbal cannabis was discovered in luggage.

The man arrested by gardaí has since been charged and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday morning.

He was remanded in custody.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
