Two men aged in their 30s and 40s have been charged in relation to a drug, knife, and firearm seizure in Co Kerry.

They are due to appear in Killarney District Court on Monday morning.

The two men and one woman were arrested on Saturday. The woman, aged in her 30s, has been released without charge.

On Saturday, gardaí seized over €165,000 worth of cannabis, €1,300 of LSD, a suspected firearm and a knife.

The intelligence-led operation was carried out by the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit.

Gardaí said that a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Investigations are ongoing.
