Man (30s) arrested in Co Donegal as part of investigation into dissident republicans

A man has been arrested by gardaí as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity in Co Donegal.

The man was arrested for alleged membership of an unlawful organisation and is currently detained at a station in the Garda North Western Region.

The investigation is being supported by the Special Detective Unit.

Gardai say the investigation is ongoing, and cannot provide any further comment at this time.
