Four men have been arrested by gardaí investigating a number of incidents of criminal damage in Co Mayo.

Windows were broken at domestic residences in Westport and Newport, Co Mayo, on Sunday.

The four arrested men, two aged in their 20s and two aged in their late teens, have since been charged.

They are due to appear before Castlebar District Court on Tuesday.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
