Gardaí have arrested four men, all aged in their 20s, in relation to the alleged unauthorised taking of a number of vehicles from outside domestic residences in Co Sligo.

The cars were allegedly taken from outside residences in Ballymote and Riverstown on Sunday.

The four men who were arrested as part of this investigation have since been charged.

They are due to appear before Sligo District Court on Tuesday.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
