No trains on Christmas or St Stephen’s Day as festive rail timetable begins

From today, Iarnród Éireann is operating a Christmas and New Year’s timetable.

A revised rail schedule is to be in operation up until and including New Year's Day.

No passenger rail services will operate on Christmas and on St Stephen's Day.

Normal services will resume on all routes on Friday, January 2nd.

Irish Rail has asked passengers to use the journey planner on irishrail.ie before travelling.
