A motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, remains in critical condition after a crash on Monday.

The collision involved a car and a motorcycle at approximately 11.45pm on the R730 at Killurin, Co Wexford on Monday, December 22nd.

The man was taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment and has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

No other injuries were reported.

The road has been closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 11.30pm to 12am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Investigations are ongoing.
