A woman has been left with serious injuries following a two-car collision in Camolin, Co. Wexford, on Sunday.

The collision happened on the R772 at Ballinclare shortly after 5:00 pm.

A woman in her 60s was brought to St Vincent's University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A male driver (aged in his 40s) was brought to Wexford General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The road remains closed pending a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
