Gardaí are appealing for dash cam footage after a man in his 60s was seriously injured in a single-car crash in Co Offaly.

A man in his 60s has been seriously injured in a single vehicle collision in Co Offaly.

The collision happened at Killaderry, Daingean, shortly after midday on Tuesday, December 16th.

The man, who was the driver and sole occupant of the car, was brought to  Tullamore Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash cam, and were travelling at Killaderry, Daingean, Co Offaly between 11am and 12.20pm on Tuesday have been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 9327600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any garda station.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
