Gardaí searched eight properties in west Dublin on Tuesday morning while investigating an assault on a woman in Clondalkin last month.

The woman was sprayed with an accelerant and set on fire at a property in the Oak Downs area on November 25th, suffering burn injuries. She remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Gardaí seized several items that were "of evidential value" during the searches on Tuesday morning.

Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.

Any persons who were in the Oak Downs area of Clondalkin between 9:30am and 10:20am on Tuesday 25th November 2025 and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
