Four men have been charged after over €7.2 million worth of cocaine was seized in counties Dublin and Wexford.

The men were arrested on Monday after the drugs, along with €47,000 of cash, were seized during searches at two separate locations in Gorey, Co. Wexford and Shankill, Co. Dublin.

During the course of this operation, gardaí seized approximately 104 kilograms of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of €7,280,000.

The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Gardaí arrested four men, two of whom are in their 40s, one in their 20s, and one in their 30s.

Three of the men, one in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, are due to appear before Gorey District Court on Thursday morning.

The fourth man appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court on Wednesday.
