Man (30s) charged in connection with stolen cattle in Co Cork

A man who was arrested in connection with cattle stolen in Co Cork has been charged.

18 cattle were stolen from the Lakelands area of Skibbereen, Co. Cork, overnight on November 18th.

The 18 cattle were found on Monday by gardaí and the Department of Agriculture following a search operation in the Ballydehob area of West Cork.

A male in his 30s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Co. Cork.

He has since been charged and will appear before Macroom District Court on Wednesday morning.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
