A devastated six-year-old is asking Santa to bring home her pet dogs, who have been missing for almost two weeks.

Little Rylee Mackey insists she doesn't want presents but instead wants the return of her Bulldog and Pug, who the family fears may have been stolen.

The one-year-old Bulldog, Lady, and the eight-month-old Pug 'disappeared' after they escaped through a hole in the back garden fencing of their home in Robinstown, Co Meath, at about 12:45pm on Sunday, November 30th.

The Mackey family have offered a €1,000 reward for their return.

"We are all just devastated," said mum Falynn

"They are not just dogs to us, they are family. Rylee is asking Santa to bring them back to her, instead of any presents this year.

"She is getting up out of bed a few times every night asking us if they are ok and we have to tell her they are, even though we don't know.

"Her little brother Luke, who is only three years old, also misses them so much. He has started wetting the bed again since they've gone."

The dogs, who are neutered and microchipped, were last spotted in an estate at the back of their house but haven't been seen since.

"I've contacted all the vets and the dog wardens and have put it out on social media but no-one has seen anything. It's like they've just disappeared.

"Even if they are dead, we just want them back so we can bury them. I don't know how anyone can have an animal and not love them. "

If anyone has seen Lilo or Lady, they can email Falynn at muddypawscrime@gmail.com.
