Man (30s) arrested after €115k of cannabis seized in Co Clare
A man has been arrested after gardaí seized €115,000 of cannabis in Co Clare on Friday.
During the search under warrant of a property in east Clare, gardaí seized approximately 5kg of suspected cannabis with an estimated value of €100,000.
Following a further search of a second property in east Clare, a quantity of suspected cannabis with an estimated value of €15,00 was seized.
A man in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Co. Clare.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
