Three people have been released without charge in connection with the murder of William Delaney.

Gardaí in Portlaoise arrested the two women (aged in their 30s and 50s) and a man (aged in his 30s) on Monday, November 24th.

William Delaney was reported missing in March 2019, and the case was upgraded to a murder investigation in June that year.

An Garda Síochána are appealing for information on the murder of Mr Delaney, and any persons with any information are asked to contact Gardaí at Portlaoise on 057-8674100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
